Using an eyelash curler is the best way to see if you’ll like the results.
I recommend this especially for those with lashes on the shorter side. We can still get them to curl but it’s important for you to have realistic expectations.
If you are not comfortable using an eyelash curler, I do offer free 10 minute consultations to measure your lashes in person.
Claustrophobia: If you are someone who is prone to this type of distress, please contact me directly before booking.
-
If possible, avoid wearing any eye makeup to your appointment. I do keep makeup remover on hand just in case.
Contact lenses - if you are comfortable wearing them during a one hour cat nap, you should be fine during the service. I do keep a sterilized contacts case and solution on hand if needed.
Your eyes will be closed the majority of the time so feel free to bring earbuds with you and dress comfortably. After your service, you will need to avoid washing/wetting your lashes, so I recommend coming freshly showered as well.
-
I’ll start the service by cleansing and measuring your lashes. Once I have chosen the appropriate shield and placed it properly on your lid, I’ll begin adhering your lashes to the shield with a water soluble adhesive.
Next, I’ll apply the perming cream to your lashes. Be prepared for the perming odor (smells like Nair). After 10 minutes, I’ll remove the cream and then apply the neutralizing solution. Again, after 10 minutes, I’ll remove the solution and the lifting process is complete.
If you opted for lash tinting, I will tint them at this point. Otherwise, I’ll gently remove the lifting shield and clean any remaining adhesive residue.
-
For 24 hours after your appointment avoid the following on your lashes: skincare, makeup, steam, sweating, or swimming.
Be sure to allow at least 6 weeks between lash lifting sessions to avoid over processing. If you still have a lot of curl at 6 weeks, add an extra week or two.

It’s as simple as using a brow gel, pomade or soap to style your brows. If you are able to create your desired shape using any of these products, we can recreate it.
If you need guidance styling your brows, I offer free 10 minute consultations to assess your brows in person.
-
Avoid using any retinoids or exfoliating products at least one week before your appointment.
Avoid any trimming or tweezing 2 - 4 weeks prior.
If possible, avoid wearing any makeup to your appointment. Also, try to come freshly showered since you won’t be able to wash/wet your brows for 24 hours.
If you are particular, I suggest coming to your appointment with your brows styled using gel in the desired shape or reference photo for me to re-create.
-
If you are using retinol or any acne treatments, your skin can be too vulnerable for the lamination chemicals and waxing.
To avoid any trauma to the skin, please take at least a week break from the product. If you have been using the product consistently for several months, please take a two week break before your face waxing.
If you have any questions about the products you’re using, you can reach out to me directly.
-
Similar to the Lash Lift, Lamination is a two step process. After cleansing the brow area, I’ll saturate the brow hairs with the perming cream. Keep in mind this product will have an strong odor similar to Nair. After approximately 10 minutes, I’ll remove the perming cream with a damp q-tip.
Next, I’ll apply the neutralizing cream and shape the brows. Again, after 10 minutes, I’ll remove the product and the lamination will be completed. If you opted for tinting as well, I’ll apply the color at this point. Otherwise, I’ll jump right into the eyebrow wax and then end the service with eyebrow conditioner.
-
For 24 hours after your appointment avoid the following on your brows: skincare, makeup, steam, sweating, swimming, direct sunlight and exfoliation.
Be sure to allow at least 4 weeks between services to avoid over processing.
-
Please consult with your doctor. Lamination is not recommended in the first trimester.

Body hair should be the length of a long grain of rice. For consistent waxers, 3-4 weeks of growth is preferred. If you are a shaver, please allow at least four full weeks of growth.
If trimming is necessary, I'll take care of that for you before I start waxing.
Note: I am currently only trained and specialized in waxing vulvas.

For first timers, please plan to commit to 3-5 sessions, four weeks apart before an important event or vacation. No shaving in between sessions.
Keep in mind, you may only be smooth for about a week after your very first session. It will likely take a few months before all the hairs start growing on the same schedule which keeps you smoother for longer.
Just like fitness, consistency is key!

Pain level tends to correlate with the amount of hair versus length of hair. At the same time, everyone has different tolerances. Some find the labia most painful while others find the top most painful. And for some it's completely painless.
I completely understand the fear. Whether you prefer to power through quickly with larger strips or ease through with smaller manageable strips, I’ll work with you to find the best strategy for your comfort level.
Other tips: Avoid caffeine, reschedule if your are on your cycle, and take a pain reliever, like Ibuprofen, 30 minutes before your appointment.
